Chief Wilkes Totem Pole – Corporation of Delta
Chief Wilkes Totem Pole – Knuckle Boom Cranes at Work
With the New Year upon us it’s always good to reflect on some of the projects we accomplished last year. Having gone through some of these projects’ photos, it is really great to see photos with sunshine from summer time.
As it is with this specific project. Eagle West Cranes was called in to help the Tsawwassen First Nations and the Corporation of Delta move Chief Wilkes totem pole from the Delta Museum and Archives to the Tsawwassen First Nations land. With the totem pole being a difficult shape to move and having it as priceless art with significance, the experience of the Eagle West Cranes team was called in to lower, transport and erect the totem pole safely.
The project was an incredible opportunity to learn more of our First Nation neighbors as well as increasing our portfolio of moving priceless art pieces around the lower mainland of British Columbia.
The project went with out a hitch and all involved were impressed with the teams ability to move the piece in a safe and reliable fashion.
