Q: Do I need to be registered with the crane association prior to taking classes?
A: Yes and you can register on-line at www.bcacs.ca
Q: If I take your program will I become a certified crane operator?
A: It is not guaranteed. Our program is designed to give you the best possible opportunity to pass the assessment.
Q: How do I become certified?
A: After taking our course an assessment will be set. After you pass your assessment you will be certified.
Q: What happens if I do not pass your course?
A: Our course is not graded, but you will be given feedback through-out the program.
Q: Who does the assessment?
A: Fulford Harbour is the assessor and they will be conducting the assessments.
Q: What happens if I do not pass parts of the assessment?
A: If you fail a part of the assessment you will have to contact Fulford Harbour for a re-assessment. There are time limits and fees associated with re-assessments so contact them immediately if you do not pass a section.
Q: How long is the lunch break?
A: 45 minutes
Q: Do I need to bring a pen and paper?
A: Please bring a pen, paper, hardhat, safety vest & steel toes.(should be CSA approved footwear)
Q: Is there anything I need to read before taking the course?
A: No.
