Job Opportunity: Sales Administrator

Sales Administrator

Established in 1990, the Eagle West group of companies, which is a division of TNT Crane Canada, is involved in all aspects of the crane industry including service, sales, and rental companies which provide hoisting, rigging and transportation solutions to all forms of residential, industrial, commercial, institutional, and government applications. The Sales Administrator will assist the sales department to fulfill order requirements in the sales process while upholding the Company core values of Honesty, Teamwork, Caring, Humility, and Creativity. This is a part-time position contract position to cover maternity leave.


  • Create, administer and present:
    • Weekly sales report
    • Monthly market segment reports
    • Account revenue reports
    • Opportunity reports – win/loss ratio
  • Generate quotes and contracts as per sales personnel requirements, upon approval by customer service representative, technical center and/or sales supervisor depending upon scope of work or dollar value, fax or email quotes directly to customer
  • Ensure CRM is update to with most recent customer data, quotes, and opportunities
  • Coordinate insurance and WorkSafeBC customer requests
  • Assist preparation and participate in monthly BC sales meetings
  • Assist the Sales Manager special projects and programs as required
  • Coordinate sales meetings with final approval by Sales Manager
  • Build communication templates
  • Assist in developing the portfolio of marketing tools and services


  • Great team work and collaboration skills
  • Minimum college diploma (degree preferred) in business, marketing, e-commerce or equivalent experience in related field
  • Possess the desire and the skills to set the standard in B2B sales process
  • Minimum of one years of experience in a similar Sales and Marketing support role that requires responding to multiple inquiries simultaneously over the phone, in person, and by email, meeting deadlines, preparing documents, tracking data and tasks, and communicating effectively with both internal and external customers
  • Excellence in written and verbal communication
  • Proficiency with customer communication and interaction
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook) along with understanding of graphic design, advertising and web design and content management processes. Understanding of CRM software a benefit
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment
  • Enjoys the challenge of managing multiple projects and deadlines
  • Personable; able to interact with and build effective relationships
  • Highly detail oriented and task focused
