As a Customer Service Representative for Eagle West, Derek is responsible for the successful day to day sales of the company’s equipment and services, specifically, the sales and estimation of crane attachments and other accessories. Derek also maintains & builds new customer relationships, works to meet or exceed monthly & annual sales targets, participates in monthly sales meetings and assesses job requirements, providing quotes and feedback to our customers.

Derek has gained over 7 years experience in operations management, sales, and customer service while running the day to day operations & sales at his family’s 25 acre cedar hedge farm. In December 2010, Derek graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree and joined the Eagle West family in November 2010.

In his free time, Derek enjoys playing hockey & baseball on local teams, watching sports, and spending time with his family. His advice to aspiring professionals is to focus on personal growth & development; read a lot and learn a lot about the area in which you want to work; if you focus on personal growth, success in the industry will follow.
