Eagle West Family Picnic 2014
The 24th annual Eagle West Cranes Family picnic was held this past weekend on Saturday, June 7th. We could not have asked for a more perfect day! It was so sunny, a few of us may have even left a little sun burned. But even that could not kill our spirit, with over 140 friends and family who attended, the picnic was a blast!
The event showed off how Eagle West really values teamwork, one of our core values. From set-up, to cooking, to the operation of our man basket rides, Eagle West employees and their families demonstrated how working together can make an event such a big success!
We had plenty of food, including smokies, burgers, veggie burgers, chicken breasts and many different types of salad! All of our food was supplied by Lepp’s Farm Market, and it was certainly a treat! For the children, we had a bouncy castle, mini golf course, face paint, and relay races topped off with candy goodie bags at the end!
The picnic also had man basket rides throughout the day. Family and friends were taken 160ft into the air using our 120 ton hydraulic crane and Boscaro four person man basket. Some photos of the beautiful view and some “selfies” taken at the top have been attached below.
This year there were so many incredible prizes donated by our vendors. Each employee walked away with a prize. Since it was our 24th picnic, the 24th prize was a Sun Peaks weekend! Other prizes included a smart TV, a Bose speaker system, charcoal grills, gift cards and much more!
