The Eagle West Crane & Rigging Advantage
Eagle West Crane & Rigging is a mobile crane rental and heavy rigging company based in British Columbia, operating since 1990. We run stiff boom, folding boom, and hydraulic all-terrain cranes, with access to crawler cranes and other specialty equipment through the TNT network, for construction, industrial moving, and specialty rigging projects across Vancouver, the Fraser Valley, the BC Interior, and Vancouver Island. Our crews are certified operators, many holding Red Seal designations, BC Crane Safe credentialed, and COR certified, and every lift we take on starts with the same process: consultation, a site visit, logistics planning, then execution.
Our History
We opened our doors in 1990 with a handful of cranes and a commitment to doing lifts right the first time. Thirty-five years later, that commitment hasn’t changed, even though the fleet has grown to cover stiff boom, folding boom, and hydraulic all-terrain cranes, backed by crawler crane access through the TNT network, for everything from routine construction lifts to jack and roll moves of entire pieces of industrial machinery.
In 2014, we joined the TNT Crane & Rigging family of companies, which also includes Southway Crane & Rigging, RMS Cranes, and Allison Crane & Rigging. That relationship gives us access to a deeper bench of equipment and expertise across North America, but our BC crews, our branch locations in Abbotsford, Chilliwack, and Kamloops, and the way we run a project on the ground haven’t changed. We’re still the same crew our long-time customers have called for decades, and we still know these sites and this coastline the way only a BC-based operator can.
Our team is built the same way our fleet is: for the long haul. Certified operators, many holding Red Seal designations, BC Crane Safe credentials, and a COR certified safety program are the baseline for everyone who shows up on one of our jobs, not an extra. We back that up with in-house lift planning and engineering support, including load calculations, structural analysis, and ground bearing and wind speed assessments, so the plan is right before a crane ever moves.
Our Core Values
Honesty
We believe that to be truly successful in business and in life, we have to be honest and open with our customers. We operate in a clear and transparent way every time, on every job. We don’t compromise on the truth, and we’ll always tell you the way it is, no matter what.
Teamwork
We thrive on teamwork. We know that it’s only by working together with each person bringing their own skills and strengths to the table, that we produce safer, better results for our customers and for each other. That teamwork is also how we keep earning repeat business.
Caring
We care about each other, about the communities we work in, and about the world we all share. We’re engaged in our neighbourhoods and we take that responsibility seriously, contributing to our communities and to the environmental standards our industry is held to.
Humility
We start by listening. We know that every customer has a choice in who they hire, and we treat every project, whether it’s a single crane rental or a multi-piece industrial move, as the unique job it is. We understand we have to keep earning the right to your next call.
Creativity
Complex lifts call for creative solutions, and that’s where we’ve built our reputation. Whether it’s a jack and slide move on a tight industrial site or a lift plan for uneven or soft ground, we bring cost-effective, practical solutions to problems that don’t have an off-the-shelf answer.
