Our rail service unit is fully equipped for both rail and road travel. It is are fitted with sleepers to help our employees meet even the most demanding service calls and job locations. The backbone of our divisions fleet is a custom engineered Western Star™ five-axle tractor crane service unit. These five axle tractors feature folding cranes capable of lifting from 60,850 lbs at 11 feet to 10,030 lbs at 62 feet! This allows us to work in conjunction with rail equipped 53-foot tilt-deck and tri-axle tag-along service trailers with rail carrying capacities of up to 100,000 lbs.
